Custom Foot Orthotics Q & A

Why orthotics?

Flat feet, foot pronation, or foot imbalances can lead to foot pain, knee pain, hip pain, back pain, and even shoulder pain. At Active Medical Center, our patients receive a foot scan and examination at their Day 1 new patient consultation. These scans allow our staff to identify imbalances in the feet that can cause knee rotation, pelvic tilt, and shoulder drop. These imbalances in the body can be caused by pronation and supination of the foot. These imbalances can lead to conditions such as plantar fasciitis, knee pain, hip pain, back pain, and neck pain. A properly aligned body will have symmetrical feet, level knees, pelvis, and shoulders. Wearing custom orthotics will help alleviate painful conditions caused by those imbalances!

Do you suffer from any of the following afflictions?

– Low Back Pain

– Plantar Fasciitis

– Pronation

– Hip Pain

– Knee Pain

– Sciatica

The feet are the foundation of our bodies. They provide the necessary stability to perform daily activities by supporting your entire body weight, using a strong 3-arched bond called the plantar vault. Our Foot Levelers custom orthotics address all three of these arches: medial longitudinal arch, lateral longitudinal arch, and the anterior transverse arch and will help ease your pain. Give us a call at 847-836-5202 to schedule your Day 1 new patient consultation and receive your foot scan today!
